The motor sailer Jabuticaba, or Jabu to her friends, is a luxurious classic Mediterranean style twin-masted wooden schooner. Jabu is available for day as well as overnight charters on a daily or weekly basis for cruises around Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi, Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Similian Islands, Langkawi right up to Burma.

At 24m long and 6.5m wide, she has expansive polished teak wood decks and a mahogany hull. With plenty of open and covered spaces she is ideal for groups of up to 60 for day charters. And with 8 double-bedded cabins with attached bathrooms, she can easily sleep 16 for overnight charters. Her average speed of 7 knots is the perfect cruising speed giving you a chance to enjoy the spectacular scenery as you sail by. Jabu is equipped with modern safety equipment, radar, GPS, depth sounder and life jackets for your safety.

Music is available in the bar and salon area as well as on all decks.  Jabu has a front seating area, a middle dance & lounge deck and a shaded back dining & lounge area. JOIN IN THE FUN

If you don’t want to splash out on a charter, fear not – a number of join-in tours also permit you to live out your dream of sailing the Andaman. Jabu Days Cruises runs day trips aboard the Jabuticaba, a luxurious 24m twin-masted wooden schooner with polished teak decks and a mahogany hull. Champagne cruises run six days a week with a brunch cruise every Sunday. “Phang Nga remains the most spectacular cruising ground in Asia,” says managing director Vishal Sood. “It’s the perfect place to enjoy the incredible scenery from aboard a luxurious, classic-style wooden boat, sipping on wine or champagne, listening to groovy music, savouring delicious food and topping it off with a magical sunset.” The emphasis is on fun.
