The two Racha Islands, Racha Yai and Racha Noi are located to the south of Phuket. Racha Yai is about 14 nautical miles from Chalong Pier in Phuket and is considered one of the best destinations in close proximity to Phuket for snorkelling and diving. There are many snorkelling and dive site around the Island such as Rach Bay, Bay 2 and Bay 3 on the east coast. There is also a resort “The Racha” on the island with great food and nice accommodation. The beaches here are great and the swimming is always fun. Jabudays Yacht Charters recommends a Racha Island Cruise if you’re not looking to go too far from Phuket for a Day or Sunset Cruise experience. Like Racha Yai, Rach Noi has some great beaches, snorkelling and swimming and may be included as part of a Racha Cruise program.
